 Amongst Taveuni island's wild profusion of natural beauty, and tucked away on a gently sloping hill is Maravu Plantation Resort. Taveuni is know as the Garden Isle of Fiji, with volcanic mountains peaking at 120 metres with lush rain forests and majestic waterfalls. The island is alive with rare birds and exotic flowers. Guests are welcomed and within a few minutes the Maravu magic begins, Maravu is a 54 acre plantation resort with ten large bures facing the tropical sunsets. Three are honeymoon bures with private outdoor showers, sun deck and verandah. Our seven deluxe bures can accommodate up to four persons. The bures are well appointed to ensure privacy. Room service, housekeeping and laundry service are available daily. There are so many things to do and explore, but if you wish to relax and do nothing there is plenty of that too. Maravu is for those wanting a private, intimate and relaxing vacation with memories to last a lifetime
There are many complimentary activities to enjoy at Maravu. Go horseback riding, have fun on our mountain bikes, explore the coastline in a kayak, or be enthralled by snorkelling off the beach and seeing the beauty of the underwater world. We also provide guided plantation walks, croquet, and bocchi ball.
 Several times a week you may witness a Fijian Kava ceremony and entertainment with our houseband, and there is a weekly Meke (Fijian songs and dances) and Lovo (Fijian underground oven feast). And of course, you may relax in a hammock on your private verandah, or by the pool, or stroll down to Maravu's beach for some sunbathing, swimming or beachcombing.
